Job summary

Jabil in San Jose, CA is seeking Direct Test Engineers I & II to design, develop and maintain test procedures, tester hardware and software for electronic circuit board production.

The role includes leadership responsibilities such as recruitment, training, coaching, performance management and cost-aware process improvements to sustain high-quality testing.

The successful candidate will mentor teammates, manage cross-functional collaboration and ensure safety and compliance across the test cell.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and five to ten years experience.
• Experience in test engineering for PCB/electronics environments preferred.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach engineering staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead test engineering activities for standard and custom devices.
• Develop and maintain test procedures, tester hardware and software.
• Coach and mentor Test Engineers to deliver excellence to customers.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to meet project timelines.
