Job summary

Broadcom Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer focused on automated production test systems for next-generation silicon photonics products used in data center interconnects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or physics is required with 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong background in optical device testing and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and C# including multi-threaded programming and GUI development.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop automated product testing systems in collaboration with product developers and manufacturing test engineers.
• Develop optimized hardware configurations for compliance testing and defect detection.
• Build test scripts, data acquisition modules, and GUI interfaces to maximize efficiency and capital utilization.
• Assist with product characterization, design validation, and production yield improvement activities.
