Job summary

GCyber seeks a Senior Test Engineer to support a federal IT modernization effort in a secure, classified environment. You will verify secure digital capabilities across ServiceNow and connected systems, advance automation, and ensure built-in quality within an Agile delivery model.

Responsibilities include test strategy, automation, planning, and cross-team collaboration to resolve defects and improve coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Eight to twelve years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GISCP, GSEC, SSC).
• Hands-on ServiceNow administration, configuration, or development experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, designs, interfaces, and user stories to ensure capabilities are complete and testable.
• Define test strategies, plans, procedures, test data, acceptance criteria, and expected results for ServiceNow and integrated systems.
• Develop automated tests using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework and other approved tools.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, operational, and user acceptance testing.
• Document results and defects in Jira and maintain validation traceability.
• Support sprint planning, reviews, demonstrations, and release readiness.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and stakeholders to resolve defects and improve quality.
• Lead testing for assigned capabilities or releases and coordinate test execution across components.
• Review test cases and evidence, mentor testers, and improve automation and regression coverage.
