Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support CMS FFE programs. You will perform continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites in an Agile setting, participating in scrums, creating reports, and documenting defects to improve end-to-end quality.

The role emphasizes test-script development in Java/JavaScript (Python preferred), tools like Rational and CQ, NoSQL database familiarity, and strong communication to ensure milestones are met with federal security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with institutes and graduation dates included in résumé
• 3+ years of end-to-end Agile manual and automated testing, including Technical Test Execution and Test Management
• Experience developing test scripts and functional testing using Java and JavaScript; Python preferred
• Hands-on testing tools experience with Rational and CQ
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and defect tracking tools like JIRA
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to meet standards and deadlines
• US residency for at least 3 of the last 5 years and ability to obtain Federal Public Trust

Responsibilities

• Plan, construct and execute test scripts
• Apply testing standards and methodologies to meet objectives
• Ensure testing results are accessible and understandable
• Track defects in the defect repository
• Execute testing activities within deadlines
• Perform regression, automation, performance, and usability testing as assigned
