Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support CMS Federally Facilitated Exchange (FFE).

You will participate in scrum ceremonies, run test case execution, create reports and document defects to improve the end-to-end testing process. The role requires 3+ years of end-to-end Agile manual and automated testing, including test script development with Java/JavaScript (Python preferred), experience with Rational, CQ and JIRA, and familiarity with NoSQL

Qualifications

• 3+ years of end-to-end Agile manual and automated software testing, including Technical Test Execution, Test Management, participating in code reviews, and monitoring, reporting, and documenting defects to support continuous improvement.
• Experience with development of test scripts and functional testing using Java and JavaScript (Python preferred).
• Hands-on experience with testing administration tools such as Rational and CQ.
• Familiarity with NoSQL database.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning, constructing and executing of test scripts.
• Applying business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives.
• Ensuring all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.
• Tracking defects in defect repository.
• Executing assigned testing activities within specified time frames to meet committed delivery dates.
• Executing regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality and usability testing as assigned.
• Participating in Agile ceremonies and processes.
