Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to drive end-to-end testing for CMS FFE programs. You will plan, execute, and document test efforts across regression, automation, and performance testing in an Agile environment.

Strong scripting in Java/JavaScript (Python preferred) and experience with Rational/CQ are required. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of testing experience, NoSQL familiarity, excellent communication, and the ability to obtain a Federal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in Agile manual and automated testing, including Technical Test Execution, Test Management, code reviews, and defect monitoring and reporting.
• Experience with test scripts development and functional testing using Java and JavaScript (Python preferred).
• Hands-on testing administration tools such as Rational and CQ.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Residency in the U.S. for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
• Ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Plan, construct, and execute test scripts.
• Apply business and functional knowledge to meet testing objectives.
• Ensure testing results are accessible and understandable.
• Track defects in the defect repository.
• Execute testing activities to meet delivery dates.
• Perform regression, automation, performance, functionality and usability testing as assigned.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and processes.
