Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• 8+ years of work experience; transitioning products and processes from prototype to production desired.
• Design and programming experience.
• Solid computer skills include MS Office, Visual BASIC, LabVIEW, C, or C++ programming; CAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates cross-functional teams in the creation, implementation & validation of complete test systems.
• Explores new test technologies where appropriate.
• Ensures test assets are leveraged to achieve testing outcomes.
• Mentors Test Engineers and Test Technicians to standardize practices.
• Prepares test equipment quotations and sourcing recommendations.
• Produces equipment specifications for optimum test performance and reliability.
• Collaborates with Design Engineering on test specifications considering failure, warranty data and lessons learned.
• Designs, builds and commissions equipment to high standards with support from others.
• Prepares technical equipment design files with drawings, specs and change records.
• Writes test software (Visual BASIC, LabVIEW, C, C++) following best practices.
