Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience, moving products from prototype to production.
• Design and programming experience with C/C++, LabVIEW, Visual BASIC.
• Strong CAD skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates cross-functional teams in the creation, implementation & validation of complete test systems.
• Explores new test technologies where appropriate.
• Ensures test assets are leveraged to achieve testing outcomes.
• Mentors Test Engineers and Test Technicians with standard practices.
• Prepares test equipment quotations and sourcing recommendations.
• Produces test equipment specifications for performance and reliability.
• Collaborates with Design Engineering on test specs considering failure, OE, warranty data.
• Designs, builds and commissions equipment to high standards.
• Prepares equipment design files with drawings, specs, test results and change requests.
• Writes test software (Visual BASIC, LabVIEW, C, C++) to best practices.
• Maintains project timing plans and cost tracking.
