Blue Origin is seeking a Sr. Test Engineer to lead hands-on development, construction, operation and maintenance of test facilities in Kent. You will guide testing across all business units, influence safety practices and deliver repeatable test results for spaceflight components and systems.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 8+ years in test facilities, and the ability to mentor teams while solving complex system challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years designing, building, or operating test facilities.
• Ability to teach and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, fabricate, install and operate test facilities.
• Mentor junior engineers in testing and development.
• Develop and execute test plans and analyze results.
• Support safety improvements and cost savings.
• Coordinate status updates with customers.
