Job summary

EXL Exlar Corporation in Chanhassen, MN is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute test strategies validating products and processes. You will mentor junior staff and modernize legacy test equipment while supporting cross‑functional engineering goals.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, scripts, and automated reports; performing root-cause analysis; and ensuring regulatory compliance for new products and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 6–10+ years of experience in test engineering or system validation.
• Proven success designing test strategies for complex systems.
• CLD/CLA or LabVIEW experience; equivalent practical LabVIEW considered.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cost-effective test methods and fixtures for production and development.
• Reverse engineer and modernize existing test equipment with little documentation.
• Create test plans and scripts (Python and proprietary); lead automated testing.
• Generate automated test reports and manage data traceability.
• Lead testing activities and ensure regulatory compliance for new products.
