Job summary

NSK Corporation is seeking a Test Engineer A/Sr to plan, develop, and execute testing programs for industrial and automotive bearing products. You will define test requirements, create DVP&Rs, and design test fixtures to ensure reliable, repeatable results.

You will lead lab improvement projects, coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers, and troubleshoot equipment to improve testing efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum of six years in test engineering, validation, or test equipment design.
• Experience with industrial or automotive bearing systems preferred.
• Proven track record designing and commissioning custom test equipment with external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute testing programs for industrial and automotive bearing products.
• Define test requirements, standards, and acceptance criteria.
• Create Design Verification Plans and Reports (DVP&Rs).
• Develop procedures, work instructions, and test fixtures for repeatable tests.
• Review test setups and coordinate lab resources.
• Support continual improvement of testing methods and processes.
• Lead development of new test stands and laboratory projects with stakeholders and vendors.
• Troubleshoot equipment and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
