Job summary

AiRISTA in Timonium, MD is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead testing of its integrated hardware and software platform. This hands-on, in-office role designs and maintains test environments, prepares equipment, executes test procedures, and drives release validation throughout the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with QA, Software, Support, and Product Management to ensure our hardware and software solutions are thoroughly tested and customer-ready while contributing to improvements

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems testing, hardware validation, or related engineering roles.
• Experience with computer hardware, networking equipment, or IoT devices.
• Experience designing and executing structured test procedures and documenting results.
• Strong troubleshooting for software and hardware issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, and improve engineering test environments.
• Develop and execute manual hardware and software test plans and regression tests.
• Lead issue reproduction, collect diagnostic data, and document defects in Jira.
• Support installation, upgrades, and release validation activities.
• Collaborate with QA, Software, Support and PM to improve lab processes.
