Job summary

Celestar Analytics LLC is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead testing of a government information system. You will validate Java-based web apps, ensure security, accessibility, and performance, and support deployment across an enterprise environment.

The role requires strong front-end testing expertise, backend troubleshooting, and experience integrating automated UI tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Candidates should hold TS/SCI with CI Polygraph and be eligible for U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Extensive experience in functional and regression testing of web-based UIs.
• Strong expertise in UI validation and cross-browser testing.
• Experience troubleshooting via log analysis and backend debugging.
• Proficiency with defect tracking processes and SQL validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
• Validate cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.
• Conduct backend troubleshooting via logs, APIs, and DB queries.
• Execute system build verification, configuration, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, admins, and security personnel.
