SAIC invites a Senior Test Engineer to lead test activities for a diverse team, ensuring thorough testing of circuit cards, embedded systems, and software across military programs. The role is onsite at SAIC's Indianapolis, IN facility, demanding close collaboration with EEs, MEs, programmers, and customers.

Responsibilities include developing tests, evaluating results, and guiding teammates. A US citizen with DoD Secret clearance eligibility is required, along with experience in test planning

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline with 5+ years or Master’s with 3+ years experience.
• Experience with requirements generation, management, allocation, and tracking.
• Background with electronic power systems, communications protocols, RF systems, sensor systems, and other military electronic assemblies.
• Troubleshooting embedded software and electronic components on CCAs.
• Experience in development and qualification testing of embedded systems, including test planning, setup, and execution.
• Experience with design review processes and presenting material in a structured development environment.
• Must be U.S. citizen and able to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Aufgaben

• Lead test activities for design and testing of hardware and software systems.
• Lead and advise other test personnel and engineers.
• Develop test plans, procedures and reports for multiple projects.
• Collaborate with test equipment architects to define test strategies.
• Manage requirements allocation and verify traceability against customer requirements.
• Analyze test results and assist with fault analysis and corrective actions.
