Job summary

SailPoint is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join the Data Access Security team in Austin, TX. You will own QA for DAS features, coordinating with a US-based team within SailPoint’s international DAS Engineering organization, and drive test coverage across UI, APIs, and data pipelines.

You will operate in a Scrum environment, develop and execute test plans, reproduce issues with engineering, and ensure high-quality software in a cloud-native, AWS-based microservices architecture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience testing enterprise software (SaaS/cloud)
• Experience testing distributed systems (APIs, microservices, event-driven workflows)
• Proven ability to develop and maintain test cases and test plans
• Ability to work with software engineers to reproduce issues and verify resolutions
• Experience designing end-to-end tests across UI, APIs and data outcomes (crawl, permissions, classification, events)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own development, maintenance, and execution of test cases for DAS control plane and connectors
• Work with the Scrum team to plan, estimate, and execute QA deliverables
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans for new feature enhancements
• Collaborate with development engineers to isolate, document, and verify resolutions for defects
