Job summary

SailPoint is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our Data Access Security team in Austin, Texas, part of the US DAS engineering organization.

You will own test development, execute end-to-end tests across UI, APIs, and data processing, and collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

The role emphasizes testing SaaS microservices in a cloud environment and requires strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years experience testing enterprise software, preferably SaaS or cloud-native products.
• Experience testing distributed systems (APIs, microservices, asynchronous/event-driven workflows).
• Proven ability to develop and maintain test cases.
• Proven ability to work with software development engineers for problem reproduction and resolution.
• Proven ability to design and execute end-to-end tests across UI, APIs, and data outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Characterize the technical quality of Data Access Security in a continuous SaaS delivery model.
• Own development, maintenance, and execution of test cases for DAS control plane and connectors.
• Reproduce reported issues, isolate defects, and confirm resolution with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Join US team and coordinate with international DAS organization.
