Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to join the Chinook Program supporting an Intelligence Community customer. The role focuses on ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing software through comprehensive testing within a cross-functional Agile Scrum Team.

Primary responsibilities include designing test strategies, automated testing, and collaboration with engineers and product managers to ensure quality in every release. Location options include multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience.
• Experience with automated testing using Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or REST Assured; CI/CD experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and execution of test strategies for complex software.
• Design functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and Scrum Masters to define acceptance criteria.
• Analyze requirements to create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Identify and track defects through resolution.
• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into deployments.
• Mentor junior test engineers and promote QA best practices.
