Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. in Colorado is seeking a Test Engineer III to develop, execute, and improve verification and validation activities for autonomous wheel loader platforms.

You will translate system requirements into structured test plans, cases, and acceptance criteria across hardware, software, sensors, hydraulics, and vehicle controls. You will own moderately complex testing from planning to closure, maintain Jama Connect artifacts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field like mechanical/electrical/computer engineering, robotics, or systems engineering.
• 5+ years in test engineering, verification and validation, or related role.
• Strong Jama Connect experience for requirements management and traceability.
• Experience developing and executing test plans for complex hardware/software systems.
• Ability to translate requirements and scenarios into test procedures and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, performance, endurance, or system-level testing.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and document moderately complex testing assignments.
• Experience analyzing test data, logs, and results to identify failures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification and validation plans for autonomous wheel loader systems and software features.
• Translate requirements and operator use cases into measurable test objectives and evidence.
• Create detailed test procedures, cases, checklists, and data-collection plans.
• Own testing assignments from planning through documentation and issue closure.
• Maintain Jama Connect requirements, test cases, and traceability for validation work.
• Ensure tests remain traceable to requirements, safety, and customer criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain traceability across system elements.
• Develop test scenarios for autonomous navigation, loading, material handling, and vehicle control.
