Magna New Mobility in Lowell, Massachusetts is seeking a Senior System Test Engineer to lead system-level test strategies for our Autonomous Mobile Robot product line. This onsite role focuses on validation of autonomy features, navigation, and fleet management, and requires collaboration across hardware, software and systems teams.

You will shape verification methodologies, improve automation frameworks, and ensure safety, quality, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field.
• 7+ years of robotics/industrial automation experience.
• Strong understanding of robotic sensors (LiDAR, cameras, localization).
• Experience with navigation, perception, controls, and fleet management.

Responsibilities

• Own system-level validation and integration strategies for autonomous mobile robot platforms.
• Lead verification and validation for autonomy features, navigation, fleet management, and safety-related functions.
• Develop risk-based testing approaches for edge cases, failure modes, and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with requirements and milestones.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and data analysis tools to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Analyze results and communicate validation status and release readiness.
