Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a senior software quality engineer to drive automated testing and continuous quality across the software lifecycle. You will build scalable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium, integrate tests into CI pipelines, and advance performance, security and resilience testing while shaping TDD/BDD practices across teams.

The role requires 6+ years in software testing or related fields, a technical degree, and strong Agile experience.

Qualifications

6+ years of relevant professional experience in software testing, coding, software design or development.
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems or another technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Strong experience designing and developing automated testing frameworks and test suites across unit, API, functional, regression, performance and security testing.
Hands-on knowledge of Java, Selenium, CI technologies and modern testing tools; integrating test suites into delivery pipelines.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD).
Bonus if you have a master’s degree in Software Engineering or Information Systems.

Responsibilities

Embed automated testing and continuous quality practices across the SDLC.
Build and evolve scalable test automation frameworks to increase regression coverage.
Strengthen performance, security, and resilience testing strategies.
Influence quality standards with TDD/BDD and automation.
Partner with developers and stakeholders to prioritize risk and deliver client-ready solutions.
