Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Sr Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for multi‑tiered applications. You will lead automation with Java and modern tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Rest Assured, BrowserStack, and Applitools, ensuring high quality and compliance across UI, APIs, and backend services.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Development, and DevOps to expand automation capabilities, support CI/CD practices, and guide Test Automation Engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with relevant software testing experience.
• Strong Java programming experience.
• Experience building or maintaining test automation frameworks for enterprise software.
• Hands-on with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Rest Assured, BrowserStack, Applitools.
• Knowledge of AI tools and how to apply them in testing.
• Experience testing across UI, APIs, and backend components.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions using Java and industry-standard tools.
• Enhance and maintain automation frameworks, tools, and utilities for test teams.
• Provide technical guidance to Test Automation Engineers across Enterprise Test Engineering.
• Collaborate with Product Management, DevOps, and other teams to plan automation activities.
• Expand framework capabilities for multiple environments and layers.
• Develop automated tests for component, API, service, and UI validation.
• Debug, optimize, and maintain automated scripts for reliability and coverage.
• Support CI/CD with automation integrations (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
