CVS Health is seeking a Digital Senior Development Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile apps. You will work across Product, Architecture, and DevOps to enable reliable, scalable releases, with a focus on Playwright, Cypress, and API testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• 3+ years of automation testing experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on development with JavaScript-based automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Jasmine or Protractor).
• 4+ years of API automation and REST API testing using Postman and RestAssured.
• Proven experience creating and maintaining test scripts and custom testing tools/frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with BDD/Cucumber for QA delivery.
• Hands-on experience using agentic AI tools to generate, refactor, and debug test code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile apps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Conduct cross-browser and responsive UI testing across devices.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, stability, and efficiency.
• Ensure testing complies with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, Medicare).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with clear quality gates.
• Ensure test traceability and alignment with release processes.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test authoring and maintenance.
