Job summary

Leidos’ Defense Systems RFS Division is seeking a Test Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. The prospective employee will work within the PMO ASE, applying scientific theory, design experimentation, and engineering principles to the test and evaluation mission for Aircraft Survivability Equipment.

Responsibilities include leading test events, developing test plans, data acquisition and analysis, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful fielding of ASE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years of prior experience leading and executing test events and developing test plans and procedures for hardware and software testing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must possess and maintain an active secret clearance. (U.S. Citizenship is required)
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Survivability Equipment testing, including qualitative and quantitative assessment of sensors, jammers, software upgrades, and other ASE systems.
• Apply flight testing principles for developmental and system qualification testing of DoD aircraft.
• Provide traceability from requirement to technical specifications.
• Lead and execute testing events, develop test plans and procedures for hardware and software testing.
• Assist engineers in test design, data analysis, and reporting of results.
