Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector in Huntsville, Alabama seeks a Test Engineer to contribute to the Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) testing and evaluation efforts within the PMO ASE. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years leading and executing test events and developing test plans and procedures for hardware and software testing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must possess and maintain an active secret clearance. (U.S. Citizenship is required)
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Survivability Equipment testing, including qualitatively and qualitatively assess sensors, jammers, software upgrades, and other aircraft survivability systems.
• Lead and execute testing events, develop test plans and procedures for hardware and software testing.
• Provide traceability from requirement to technical specifications.
• Support the development of the Test Strategy and/or Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP).
• Lead the T&E Integrated Product Team (IPT) and conduct Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).
• Support the development of test and evaluation input into Milestone documentation such as the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), Program Protection Plan (PPP), Systems Specification, Performance Work Statement (PWS) and/or Statement of Work (SoW).
• Support test planning with the OEM and the Government Test Agencies including ATEC and LFTE.
