Job summary

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is seeking a qualified Test Engineer for a remote position.

You will design and implement manual and automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and collaborate with architects, software engineers and support staff across the GTIMS program. The role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance, 4+ years of software/test engineering experience (or 2+ years development plus 2+ years automated testing), strong SQL skills, and familiarity with Agile processes.

Qualifications

• Active or Current DoD Secret Clearance.
• 4+ years of software/test engineering experience, or 2+ years development team experience and 2+ years automated testing experience.
• Experience with various formal and documented testing methods and tools.
• Experience with configuring performance tests (environments and load generation).
• Familiarity with Agile development processes including working in sprints, planning, estimation, prioritization, scoping, and demoing.
• Familiarity with SQL, including the ability to write, modify, and execute SQL queries to support the test process and test data validation.
• Demonstrated experience using a modern ticket management system.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervisory direction.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Active Security+ Certification.

DSA Inc. is seeking a qualified Test Engineer, in a remote position. The selected candidate will join DSA's test team sustaining the GTIMS Program. The Test Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing manual and automated tests, reviewing and analyzing test results, identifying defects/bugs, communicating with the architect, software engineers and support team, re-testing and verifying defects/bugs are fixed, and assisting in various other phases of the development lifecycle when needed. Position may require weekend and nighttime hours (<5% time).

Required Qualifications

• Active or Current DoD Secret Clearance
• 4+ years of software/test engineering experience, or 2+ years development team experience and 2+ years automated testing experience
• Experience in the application of various formal and documented testing methods and tools
• Experience with configuring performance tests (environments and load generation)

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$90,000 - $110,000 USD
