Job summary

DSA seeks a QA Engineer to define test strategy and perform comprehensive testing across enterprise applications in DoD environments. The role emphasizes functional, regression, migration, security, and release testing with a focus on AI-assisted testing and test automation.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a tech field, 5+ years in QA, relevant certifications, and the ability to obtain security clearances. On-site work at Fort Dix, NJ is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing/QA for enterprise apps.
• Certification: ISTQB/CSTE/SAFe/Agile or CompTIA Security+.
• Experience developing and executing test plans, cases, scripts, data, regression suites, and defect reports.
• Experience with functional, integration, system, UAT, regression, automated, and release testing.
• Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain TS clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, data, and regression suites.
• Validate application functionality, workflows, integrations, APIs, and reports across ACWS environments.
• Document test results, defects, validation outcomes, quality metrics, and release readiness.
• Support defect triage, retesting, UAT, deployment validation, and production readiness activities.
• Coordinate testing across sprints and releases.
• Improve automation, metrics, and reusable test assets.

QA Engineer Summary

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years in software testing, QA, test execution, or enterprise application validation.
• ISTQB, CSTE, SAFe, Agile, or comparable certification and CompTIA Security+.
• Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts, test data, regression suites, automated test scripts, and defect reports.
• Experience performing functional, integration, system, UAT, regression, automated, and release testing for enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted testing, test automation frameworks, and continuous testing practices preferred.
• Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance based on Government requirements.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience testing Appian, low-code/no-code, Java, API, database, or cloud-hosted applications.
• Experience supporting Army, DoD, acquisition, contracting, or federal enterprise systems.
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted testing, automation, and test data generation concepts.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$110,000 - $120,000 USD
