Job summary

Fox Point Recruitment LLC is seeking a Senior Test Engineer in Buffalo, NY to support production introduction and manufacturing of complex electronic assemblies for aerospace, aviation, and defense. You will lead test-system development, transitions, and cross-functional problem-solving.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and about 10 years of experience with hardware/software troubleshooting, plus proficiency in LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and programming in Python, C, C++, or C#.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
Typically 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
Ability to troubleshoot electronic hardware and software assemblies.
Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and technical activities.
Proficiency with MS Office applications (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio).
Ability to work with U.S. export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute transition plans for products moving from engineering to manufacturing.
Lead resolution of test equipment, electrical interface, and production test issues.
Design and develop test systems for card assemblies and electronic equipment.
Create hardware interfaces, wiring, power distribution, and data acquisition.
Develop and maintain test software using LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Python, C, C++, and C#.
Integrate test equipment such as signal generators, DMMs, power supplies, PCs.
Build, verify, qualify, and accept new test equipment.
Troubleshoot and support production test systems and provide training.
