Logisnext Americas Inc. in Houston is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive tests for forklift systems—mechanical and electrical—ensuring safety, reliability, and quality.

You will work hands-on with sensors, data-logging equipment, and test automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve products. Some travel (5–10%) may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred).
• Strong testing methodology knowledge including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Familiarity with sensors (thermocouples, encoders, etc.) and data logging equipment.

About the role:

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and overall quality of our products. You are expected to have a strong electrical background but also possess a mechanical mindset. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing hands on comprehensive testing plans and procedures to verify and validate the performance of our product.

As a member of our team you will perform hands on product testing for both mechanical and electrical system tests, on electric and internal combustion fork trucks.

What you will do:

Qualifications: What you need to have:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical engineering preferred)
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Familiarity using sensors such as Thermocouples, pressure transducers, encoders, shunts, strain gauges, etc.
• Experienced using data logging equipment (DeweSoft, HBM, Graphtechs, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with data analysis and statistical methods.
• Proficiency in using MS Office product suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Projects)
• Comfortable using hand and power tools on a daily basis.

What would be nice to have:

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills: ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (ANSI, ISO, UL)
• Prior Automotive/fork-truck experience desired.
• Test Automation - Fixture design and programming (C++, PLC, circuit development)
