Logisnext Americas Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to ensure safety, reliability, and quality of forklift products. You will design and execute hands-on tests for both mechanical and electrical systems on electric and internal combustion forklifts.

About the role

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and overall quality of our products. You are expected to have a strong electrical background but also possess a mechanical mindset. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing hands on comprehensive testing plans and procedures to verify and validate the performance of our product. As a member of our team you will perform hands on product testing for both mechanical and electrical system tests, on electric and internal combustion fork trucks.

What you will do

• Conduct performance, functional, and durability testing for forklifts under various load and environmental conditions.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for forklift systems and components.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and improve the product.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test reports, and test procedures.
• Create and develop automated test fixtures and custom test setups.

When & Where

Standard Business Hours May Include 5-10% Travel

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical engineering preferred)
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Familiarity using sensors such as Thermocouples, pressure transducers, encoders, shunts, strain gauges, etc.
• Experienced using data logging equipment (DeweSoft, HBM, Graphtechs, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with data analysis and statistical methods.
• Proficiency in using MS Office product suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Projects)
• Comfortable using hand and power tools on a daily basis.

Nice to have

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills: ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (ANSI, ISO, UL)
• Prior Automotive/fork-truck experience desired.
• Test Automation - Fixture design and programming (C++, PLC, circuit development)
