Logisnext Americas Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer in Houston to lead hands-on testing of forklift systems, both electrical and mechanical.

You will design test plans, execute functional and durability tests, and develop automated fixtures to support product validation. The role requires a strong electrical background, a mechanical mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Strong testing methodologies: planning, execution, reporting.
• Familiarity with sensors (thermocouples, transducers, encoders, etc.).
• Experience with data logging equipment (DeweSoft, HBM, Graphtec).

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance, functional, and durability testing for forklifts under various load and environmental conditions.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for forklift systems and components.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and improve the product.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test reports, and test procedures.
• Create and develop automated test fixtures and custom test setups.

In addition to being a forklift manufacturer, we are also a total solutions provider offering scalable products and services from material handling and automation to extensive fleet support.About the role:As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and overall quality of our products. You are expected to have a strong electrical background but also possess a mechanical mindset. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing hands on comprehensive testing plans and procedures to verify and validate the performance of our product.As a member of our team you will perform hands on product testing for both mechanical and electrical system tests, on electric and internal combustion fork trucks.What you will do:Conduct performance, functional, and durability testing for forklifts under various load and environmental conditions.Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for forklift systems and components.Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and improve the product.Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test reports, and test procedures.Create and develop automated test fixtures and custom test setups.When & Where:Standard Business HoursMay Include 5-10% TravelWhat you need to have:Bachelors degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical engineering preferred)Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including test planning, execution, and reporting.Familiarity using sensors such as Thermocouples, pressure transducers, encoders, shunts, strain gauges, etc.Experienced using data logging equipment (DeweSoft, HBM, Graphtechs, etc.)Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Familiarity with data analysis and statistical methods.Proficiency in using MS Office product suite.
