Job summary

Logisnext Americas Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to ensure the safety, reliability, and overall quality of our forklifts and automation solutions.

You will design, develop, and execute hands-on testing plans for mechanical and electrical systems, including both electric and internal combustion forklift trucks. You will perform tests, analyze results, create documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product improvements and robust verification across our product

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred).
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies with planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with sensors (thermocouples, pressure transducers, encoders, shunts, strain gauges, etc.).
  • Experience using data logging equipment (DeweSoft, HBM, Graphtechs, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and statistical methods.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Projects).
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools daily.

Responsibilities

About The Role

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and overall quality of our products. You are expected to have a strong electrical background but also possess a mechanical mindset. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing hands on comprehensive testing plans and procedures to verify and validate the performance of our product.

As a member of our team you will perform hands on product testing for both mechanical and electrical system tests, on electric and internal combustion fork trucks.

What You Will Do

Qualifications

What you need to have:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical engineering preferred)
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Familiarity using sensors such as Thermocouples, pressure transducers, encoders, shunts, strain gauges, etc.
  • Experienced using data logging equipment (DeweSoft, HBM, Graphtechs, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and statistical methods.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office product suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Projects)
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools on a daily basis.
What Would Be Nice To Have
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills: ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (ANSI, ISO, UL)
  • Prior Automotive/fork-truck experience desired.
  • Test Automation - Fixture design and programming (C++, PLC, circuit development)
