Job summary

E-Space in Saratoga, CA is seeking a Staff Test Electrical Engineer to lead the design and deployment of automated test systems for satellite avionics. You will collaborate with Test, Electrical, and Systems Engineering to develop hardware and lab automation supporting flight-like testing of satellite hardware.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in custom electronics design and testing, and strong experience with Altium, SPICE, and automated test frameworks.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required.
• 10+ years in electronics hardware development and testing including schematic capture, PCB layout, hardware characterization, and automated test implementation.
• Strong documentation skills for test procedures and results.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of functional test equipment from concept to production test.
• Develop PCBA and hardware requirements with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Capture schematics and lay out PCBs using Altium Designer; support automated test software.
• Lead test strategies, validation, and flight hardware qualification.
