Job summary

CACI International is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated tests using OpenText UFT and ALM, supporting monthly regression cycles and data generation.

You will collaborate with BP functional teams, drive automation improvements, validate new automation capabilities for WBSCM interfaces, oversee UFT-ALM compatibility, and contribute to evolving test strategies, including exploring Tosca and CoPilot AI as part of modernization.

Qualifications

• Extensive, real-world experience in design, development and execution of automated testing scripts.
• 10+ years of relevant business experience; 7+ years of automated test development and execution experience.
• 2+ years’ experience using OpenText and SAP tools (ALM, UFT, TAO).
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Work across technical and functional teams to ensure program test requirements are met while enhancing capabilities.
• Deliver enhanced automation capability based on newly released enhancements to Production for subsequent test events.
• Deliver new automation development scenarios as prioritized by USDA.
• Conduct demos of new automation scenarios with USDA agency stakeholders as necessary.
• Execute automation Regression Test scope for monthly and special project releases, within the release schedule.
• Generate volume test data in support of test events, as requested.
• Support OpenText ALM custom code / workflow changes as requested by the WBSCM RM.
• Identity and assess new automation capabilities for WBSCM interfaces and WBSCM reports.
• Manage the UFT software version compatibility with OpenText ALM upgrades.
• Support BASIS on security vulnerability remediation efforts related to UFT.
• Communicate effectively with diverse customer organizations and provide status to stakeholders.
• Deliver proof-of-concept / proof-of-capability of transition from UFT to Tricentis Tosca.
• Deliver proof-of-concept / proof-of-capability of CoPilot AI solution to enhance test automation capability.
