Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automated test frameworks for complex hardware/software systems in Orlando. You will collaborate with software, systems, and hardware engineers to ensure high quality releases.

The role emphasizes automated testing, test strategy development, and integration with CI/CD pipelines across development lifecycles. Relevant programming experience and strong V&V methodologies are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, software development, or related discipline.
• Experience building automated test frameworks or automation tools.
• Programming experience in Python, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of software verification and validation methodologies.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing environments.
• Ability to test and debug integrated hardware/software systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools.
• Create test strategies that improve software quality and release confidence.
• Verify and validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
