Job summary

Chase in Wilmington, Delaware seeks a Senior Associate to design, build, and maintain an in-house Test Automation Framework powering continuous delivery across credit card products. You will work with product and engineering teams to ensure quality at every stage of the development lifecycle and help us ship faster and smarter.

The role emphasizes collaboration in Agile ceremonies, estimating effort, and fostering best practices, including AI-assisted test generation and log analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3 years of experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, or FitNesse.
• 3 years of experience with open-source test automation tools.
• 3 years of experience with CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git).
• 3 years of experience in Agile teams, including creating test strategies from backlog refinements.
• Strong communication skills; ability to present results clearly.
• Experience building AI-assisted templates and checklists for repeatable outputs.
• Collaborative mindset and adaptability to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases validating user acceptance criteria for new and existing features.
• Expand end-to-end test automation suite; integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Managers, and Tech partners to understand requirements and design test plans.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (backlog, story mapping, sprints, demos).
• Provide effort estimates for user stories using planning poker and similar techniques.
• Promote testing best practices and drive continuous process improvement.
• Assist in manual testing when automation is not feasible; ensure coverage.
• Communicate test progress, results, and issues clearly to teams.
