Job summary

Nova Biomedical seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automated test solutions, converting manual test preparation into automated workflows. You will collaborate with SQA, lead software engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth testing, development, and deployment of automated strategies.

You will work with Ranorex to automate test processes, develop test cases, and create data for testing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Experience creating and deploying applications using .Net, React, Node.js, Python, C#, and XML.
• Ability to interface with and troubleshoot devices via RS232, USB HID and GPIB.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases in production.
• Strong understanding of networking and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of file server security with SSL, LDAP, NPS and RADIUS.
• 10+ years of engineering and programming experience.
• Strong problem-solving and independent ownership.

Responsibilities

• Improve and automate test strategies and software configurations using Ranorex.
• Define test strategies and manuals for tracking and fixing software issues.
• Develop and execute test cases to diagnose issues and create test data.
• Develop, design, and configure software solutions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop automation and process strategies.
• Modify and upgrade systems to support new initiatives.
• Interface software with databases and electro-mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes and assist maintenance.
• Plan and implement control systems toward automation.
• Design fixtures and attachments to facilitate automation.
• Provide technical consultation on current and future systems.
• Automate parts of manufacturing processes and data collection.
• Create and support databases and programs to automate systems.
• Research new hardware/software for development of products.
