Job summary

Next Level Business Services Inc. is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to drive test automation across UI and API layers. You will leverage Java, C#, and Python to implement robust frameworks and REST service tests using Postman, REST Assured, Karate, and Cypress.

You will contribute in a distributed agile environment, integrate with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI), and collaborate with analysts and SMEs to ensure high-quality software releases in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Information Technology with expertise in test automation of applications from UI and API layer.
• Hands-on experience in OOP languages like Java and C# and scripting languages like Python.
• Experience with API and Microservices testing and automation.
• Knowledge of TDD/BDD with frameworks like Cucumber/JBehave.
• Hands-on experience with SQL (preferred) or NoSQL databases.
• Experience deploying applications in AWS or OpenShift (Kubernetes).
• Automating backend REST services using Postman, REST Assured, Karate, Cypress, Ready API, etc.
• Building test automation frameworks with modular patterns and Page Object Model (POM).
• Experience in distributed agile teams using SCRUM/SAFe/XP.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins and CircleCI.
• Source control with GitLab, GitHub, AWS CodeCommit, etc.
• Creating test reports from automation runs (Cucumber reports, Extent).
• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and evolving technologies.
• Strong communication with peers, analysts, and subject matter experts.
