Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team seeks a software quality professional to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks. You will analyze incidents, track defects, and back up Scrum Leads while guiding test automation across lines of business using GitHub Copilot and JUnit.

Training and cross-team collaboration are essential. The role requires strong experience in Agile/Scrum, Java, Selenium, and Azure, with a focus on test reports, data validation, and risk-based actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field (will accept foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience with Agile/Scrum, Java, Selenium, and Azure.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field (will accept foreign education equivalent) and two (2) years of experience with Agile/Scrum, Java, Selenium, and Azure.
• Experience producing clear test reports, defect summaries, release notes, and translating findings into business impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Perform analysis and tracking of incidents.
• Backup Scrum Lead, supporting agile ceremonies and team coordination.
• Lead test automation for Image & Workflow Initiatives across LOBs using GitHub Copilot for DevOps improvements and Junit Test cases.
• Defect trend tracking and reporting.
• Incident research and recommend application updates.
• Train with multiple Scrum Leads on scope and DSU duties.
• Train with IBM on FileNet and CMOD features across teams.
• Focus on enterprise correspondence generation (Life, Annuity, Dental, RIS).
