Job summary

Blueprint Technologies in Bellevue, WA seeks a Senior Terraform Infrastructure Engineer to lead migration of a Azure Kubernetes Service and VM workloads to Azure Container Apps and Azure SQL, using Terraform to build secure, reusable infrastructure.

You will collaborate with engineering, security, data, and operations, assess workloads, design environments, and ensure reliable cutover, rollback, and observability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure/DevOps or related roles.
• 5+ years delivering production Azure environments with Terraform.
• Expert knowledge of Terraform architecture and IaC.
• Expert knowledge of AKS and Kubernetes troubleshooting.
• Expert experience containerizing APIs and web apps.
• 5+ years Azure migration architecture and planning.
• 5+ years with Docker or OCI images and container security.
• CI/CD, release automation, and rollback experience.
• Monitoring with Azure Monitor/Log Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Terraform architecture for migration landing zones, networking, identity, security, application platforms, databases, monitoring, and environment promotion.
• Build reusable Terraform modules/environments for Azure components and apps.
• Manage providers, remote state, locking, drift checks, and CI/CD promotion.
• Evaluate AKS workloads, troubleshoot control-plane interactions, and node pools.
• Assess containerized APIs/web apps for runtime dependencies and scaling.
• Plan migrations from VMs/SQL to Azure SQL and related services.
• Establish observability, runbooks, and rollback procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, data, and operations teams.
