Job summary
Envision Technology Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a senior Data Engineer to design, build and optimize data pipelines across analytics platforms. You will collaborate with Product Owners and data partners to translate requirements into scalable solutions, ensuring data quality and timely delivery.
Bring 7+ years of SQL, Teradata, Pyspark experience, and a strong grasp of data management practices. You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to CI/CD, and help shape enterprise data
Qualifications
- Requires 7+ years in data engineering with strong SQL and relational DB knowledge.
- Experience with Teradata and utilities (BTEQ, TPT) is essential.
- Hands-on work with Pyspark, Impala or Hive in analytics environments.
- Excellent communication with business and tech partners.
- Familiarity with Agile software delivery and scrum teamwork.
- Proven ability to lead data integration and transformation tasks.
Responsibilities
- Code and deliver data integration, cleaning, and transformation tasks.
- Assemble large, complex data sets for analytics and reporting.
- Build data pipelines enabling faster, data-informed decisions.
- Mentor junior Data Engineers and promote CI/CD practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders on requirements.
- Contribute to test suites and ensure data quality controls.
