Job summary

Centraprise in Charlotte, NC seeks a data engineer with strong SQL and relational DB expertise. You will work on Teradata with BTEQ and TPT, plus Pyspark, Impala or Hive, and collaborate in an Agile scrum team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of advanced SQL experience and understanding of relational databases.
• 5+ years of experience with Teradata and utilities (BTEQ, TPT, etc).
• 4+ years of experience working on Pyspark, Impala/Hive.
• Must have a working knowledge of Agile software delivery practices and practical experience as part of a scrum team.
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite software skills with Excel, Access, SharePoint.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning capabilities.
• Requires exceptional organizational skills, problem solving, attention to detail and timeline management.
• Ability to communicate with both business and technology partners effectively.
• Scheduling software experience with Autosys.
• Shell scripting experience. Experience with Bitbucket, Github, Ansible.
• Strong analytical skills Team player who takes initiative Experience with Oracle, Tableau, .NET, Autosys, JIRA and Data Management tools.
• Knowledge of Global Technology, Enterprise Data Management Enterprise Data Architecture programs, strategies and standards.
• 3+ years of service in the financial industry with reporting and development experience.
