Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Teradata/ETL
• Strong Teradata SQL, joins, indexes, explain plans
• Hands-on with Teradata utilities (FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT, BTEQ)
• ETL/ELT processes and data migration strategies
• Knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage)
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and BI tools
• Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimisation
• Unix/Linux scripting skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise data warehouse solutions using Teradata
• Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and macros in Teradata
• Implement ETL workflows using tools like Informatica, BTEQ, or Teradata utilities (FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT)
• Optimise queries and manage performance tuning for large-scale data environments
• Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Develop reusable Python scripts for automation data transformation and validation
