Job summary

JCW Group, recruiting on behalf of a leading specialty property and casualty insurer, seeks an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster for a temporary contract in South Carolina. You will manage complex indemnity claims from initial investigation through resolution.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of workers’ compensation claims experience, active adjuster licensure, and proven negotiation and investigative skills to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience, including indemnity claims.
• Active Workers’ Compensation adjuster license(s) as required.
• Ability to manage claims from initial investigation through litigation and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex Workers’ Compensation indemnity claims.
• Conduct thorough, timely investigations and assess relevant information to determine coverage and exposure.
• Review claim forms, policy documentation, endorsements, and other supporting documentation.
