Job summary

FIS is seeking a senior Telecom Expense Management leader to shape strategic direction for TEM across voice, data, wireless, and mobility services. You will own budgets and forecasting, oversee invoice governance and contract compliance, and drive cost optimization in a complex enterprise environment.

The role requires senior-level expertise with strong executive communication, analytical capabilities, and proficiency in Excel and financial platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, CS, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 10+ years in telecom services, TEM, budgeting, forecasting, auditing, or related operational support.
• Strong executive communication, analytical, and organizational skills with advanced Excel.
• Experience with TEM platforms such as Calero or VeraSMART is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for enterprise TEM across voice, data, wireless and mobility services.
• Own complex billing operations and multimillion-dollar telecom budgets, including forecasting and spend optimization.
• Drive invoice accuracy, dispute resolution, approvals, and contract compliance to strengthen controls.
• Set expectations with carriers and TEM providers by monitoring SLAs and KPIs.
• Coordinate across internal stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
