Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, Telemetry (Starlink). You will design, build, and operate a scalable telemetry platform supporting petabyte-scale data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions for Starlink.

Experience in distributed systems, Kubernetes, Linux, and full-stack development is required. Extensive ownership and willingness to work extended hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack development or software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate a highly reliable, distributed telemetry platform for petabyte-scale data.
• Collaborate with engineers on architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Partner with satellite and rocket teams to translate mission needs into elegant technical solutions.
• Take full end-to-end ownership of the complete software and hardware stack.
• Apply first principles thinking to business problems.
