SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Software Engineer, Telemetry for Starlink, requiring a Top Secret clearance. You will design, build, and operate a highly reliable telemetry platform capable of ingesting, processing, storing, and querying data at petabyte scale, collaborating with satellite and rocket teams to meet mission needs.

As part of a fast-moving team, you’ll own end-to-end software and hardware solutions, work on cutting-edge challenges, and contribute to Starlink’s global internet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of software experience in lieu of a degree
• 1+ years of full stack development, software engineering, data engineering, or data science
• Active Top-Secret or Top-Secret SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate a highly reliable, distributed telemetry platform capable of ingesting, processing, storing, and querying data at petabyte scale
• Collaborate with other engineers on architecture, design, and code reviews
• Partner with satellite and rocket teams to understand mission needs and translate them into solutions
• Take full end-to-end ownership of the complete software and hardware stack
• Deep dive into business problems and apply first principles thinking
