Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Mach-TB Mission Engineer to lead telemetry data processing and trajectory analysis for the MACH-TB program in Crane, IN. The role focuses on BET/QLB data products, TM decryption, and precise GN&C navigation solutions using real-time telemetry streams.

You will work on-site, coordinating with Range and Vehicle providers, to ensure timely, accurate analysis from pre-launch through post-launch events. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Interim Secret Clearance required to start, with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 5 years’ experience or a Master’s Degree with 3 years’ experience.
• 2+ years in telemetry data analysis or a related GN&C field.
• Proficiency in 6DOF analysis and navigation solution generation.
• Strong ability to interpret telemetry format data and produce data products.
• Experience with decryption processes and decrypted telemetry stream data (CH10, IRIG-B timing).
• Proven leadership in multidisciplinary environments to meet tight timelines.
• On-site work capability and coordination with Range/Vehicle providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end telemetry data processing for MACH-TB, delivering BETs and QLBs.
• Oversee data handling, decryption (if needed), source selection of telemetry streams.
• Operate TM rack equipment to receive decrypted telemetry and IRIG-B timing signals.
• Process telemetry inputs to generate 6DOF navigation solutions (GPS time/position/velocity).
• Analyze and document telemetry formats: word/frame locations, sync patterns, data rates.
• Ensure data quality and drive HYIL/SIL testing with trajectory data.
• Communicate results to stakeholders across ranges and providers.
