Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. in Maryland seeks a Senior Telecommunications Engineer to lead planning, design, development, and maintenance of operations support systems for telecom services at onsite Maryland locations.

The role emphasizes business and information planning, data analysis, and guidance on software engineering techniques and automation tools to support billing, trouble tickets, service orders, and configuration management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
Five (5) years of experience in engineering, systems analysis, design and programming.
Two (2) years of experience in functional and data requirement analysis, systems analysis and design, programming, program design of billing, trouble ticket management, service order entry, and/or configuration management systems supporting operations of large telecommunications support organizations.

Responsibilities

Plan, analyze, design, develop, and maintain operations support systems used by telecommunications organizations.
Perform business systems planning, information planning, and analysis in support of telecommunications support functions.
Provide technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.
