Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Senior Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on large-scale fiber installation projects across North America. You will develop project plans, monitor performance, mentor staff, and ensure work meets plans, codes, and safety standards.

Travel across multiple states is expected. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of telecommunications construction supervision, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

Effective communication and leadership skills.
Ability to supervise craft employees and sub-contractors.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

Will ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
Leads the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversees incident investigations.
Reviews and updates construction schedules, addresses delays, and contributes to project schedules.
Estimates activity durations and materials for complex projects.
Working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project.
Participates in subcontractor, supplier selection, procurement and negotiations.
Will set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team.
Provides leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents.
