Job summary

UnityTec seeks a Telecom Network Senior Engineer to design, implement, and sustain the enterprise Telecom/Collaboration architecture. You will develop technical solutions, resolve complex issues, and provide Tier 3 leadership while coordinating with stakeholders.

This on-site role is based in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities include leading architectural design, developing requirements and solution designs, and coordinating deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 10 years in information systems or software engineering.
• Experience with voice, video, and data transport systems.
• Experience designing access and backbone networks with carrier services.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, configuration, and sustainment of the Telecom/Collaboration architecture under general supervision.
• Creates engineering requirements, specifications, and solution designs to address deficiencies and enable new capabilities.
• Performs installation, configuration, and integration of systems and devices, including IP space, ports, VMs, racks, power, and connectivity.
• Analyses and resolves complex technical issues as the Tier 3 escalation point and ensures alignment with enterprise standards.
